Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Sparks is an exciting part of our AWANA club for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade boys and girls. Each club meeting has three parts: game time and handbook time followed by council time (songs and a Bible story). We have fun theme nights to make club even more exciting.
Sparky, the friendly firefly, appears throughout the Bible-based materials to encourage clubbers to complete their handbooks. Children earn awards for sections completed and the Sparks who complete all three books (a 3-year endeavor) receive a special Sparky plaque. Our goal for the clubbers is not just that the children receive awards but that they understand what the verses mean and how they can apply them to their lives.
Even at this young age many clubbers learn how to love Jesus more and how to have a real relationship with Him.

Sparks Awards
Your child has the opportunity to earn awards throughout the club year. Most awards are earned by completing sections in handbooks, but some are given for attendance.
